Statewide Symposium in Support of Service Members, Veterans & Their Families

The Symposium is our annual conference that brings together military, government and community organizations for professional development and networking. This April will be the 14th Symposium. Registration opens in January. More details.

Resource Navigation Training

The Arizona Coalition for Military Families has trained more than 6,500 navigators statewide. This training (in-person or online via webinar) equips everyone in our community to help.

Arizona Veteran Supportive Employer Training

Over 150 public and private sector employers have earned the Arizona Veteran Supportive Employer designation. The Coalition offers training to employers statewide to complete the requirements for the designation. View employers here.

The Arizona Coalition for Military Families (ACMF) provides no-cost training for the employees, staff, faculty, and leadership of colleges, technical schools, universities, and other higher education organizations that have earned or are working to earn the Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus (AVSC) designation from the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services (ADVS).

Military Immersion Training

Military Immersion Training offers civilians the opportunity to experience a slice of military life by spending the day on a military installation. The next MIT will likely take place in 2021, at the Arizona National Guard. Registration details are coming soon. Learn more here.
