Military Immersion Training

We are working on scheduling a Military Immersion Training at some point in the coming year. To be notified, please join our e-newsletter!

Along with the annual Symposium, Military Immersion Training (MIT) is one of the Arizona Coalition for Military Families’ signature events. This unique experiential training offers civilian providers, partners and community members the opportunity to live just a slice of military life for two days. Participants stay overnight on a military installation, learn drill and ceremony, eat military meals and, most importantly, interact with and learn directly from service members about the unique aspects of military life.

Presented in partnership by ACMF, the Arizona National Guard, Governor’s Office for Children, Youth & Families and TriWest Healthcare Alliance, this event has been held twice at Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix.
