Military Immersion Training

Along with the annual Symposium, Military Immersion Training (MIT) is one of the Arizona Coalition for Military Families’ signature events. This unique experiential training offers civilian employers, providers, partners and community members the opportunity to live just a slice of military life. Participants spend time on a military installation, learn drill and ceremony, eat military meals and, most importantly, interact with and learn directly from service members about the unique aspects of military life.

This event has been presented twice as a two-day overnight event in partnership by ACMF, the Arizona National Guard, Governor’s Office for Children, Youth & Families and TriWest Healthcare Alliance.

In September 2017, ACMF, the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services and the Arizona Corporate Council on Veteran Careers hosted a Military Immersion Training in partnership with the Arizona National Guard for employers.
