The Arizona Coalition for Military Families was invited to participate in a two-day strategic planning event in Washington, D.C., this week. Hosted by the Purdue University Military Family Research Institute, the purpose of the convening was to create a “battle plan” for how best to support service members, veterans and their families during future military conflicts.
Attendees included national key stakeholders from the military, government and community. As the only state-level organization included, ACMF was pleased to contribute to the national dialogue based on our experience with capacity building over last six years on local, state and national level. The results of the event will be published in a book.
