Symposium Update: Early Childhood Track

The annual Statewide Symposium in Support of Service Members, Veterans & Their Families will take place April 22-23, 2015, at Desert Willow Conference Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This annual convening of military, government and community partners will be held for the sixth time in 2015.

For the first time, the event will feature a track focused on military and veteran families with young children. The track will include six breakout sessions and there will also be exhibitors that focus on services for this population.

In addition to the public and private sector Symposium planning partners, a working group with representatives of key agencies and systems such as the Arizona Department of Education, Child Crisis Center, First Things First, Arizona Department of Health Services, Arizona Department of Economic Security, Southwest Human Development and others will assist with developing the track content.

In addition to the early childhood track, the Symposium will also feature tracks on: Military/Veterans in AZ, Family Matters, Basic Needs, Benefits & Beyond, Vet Courts/Legal and Clinical Practice & Skills.

Registration for the event will begin in January.
